1. Data Minimization Philosophy
Camiouna Transport Economics is an analytical decision-support engine built for independent freight transporters and small transport fleets in Algeria. Our core philosophy is data minimization: we collect only what is strictly necessary to run and improve the tool. We do not sell data, do not display third-party advertisements, and do not track individual users across the web.
2. Offline-First Architecture: Financial Data Stays Local
Every economic value you enter—purchase price, financing schedules, fuel costs, tire replacement intervals, driver income targets, and customer pricing simulations—remains strictly inside your device’s local storage (localStorage). All financial calculations run locally in your browser’s JavaScript runtime, functioning reliably without an active internet connection.
3. Optional Product Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
Subject to your explicit prior consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (operated by Google LLC, United States) to measure general usage patterns (popular pages, vehicle categories examined, language chosen, PWA install confirmations). IP addresses are automatically anonymized. No monetary values, profit estimates, or identifying vehicle details are ever transmitted.
4. Google Consent Mode v2 & Zero Advertising
We strictly follow Google Consent Mode v2 standards. By default for all visitors, all advertising signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) and analytics storage are set to 'denied'. Even when analytics is enabled with your permission, advertising permissions remain permanently denied because Camiouna does not run advertising campaigns or retargeting. No tracking scripts load before explicit consent.
5. Accepting, Rejecting, and Withdrawing Consent
You have complete control over your choice. Refusing analytics does not restrict any calculator feature, offline mode, or guide. You can modify your consent at any time via the "Privacy Settings" link in the footer or the button below. Upon consent withdrawal, tracking ceases immediately and existing analytics cookies (_ga, _gid) are purged from your browser.
6. Legal Framework & Algerian Law 18-07
In the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, personal data processing is governed by Law No. 18-07 of June 10, 2018 regarding the protection of individuals in the processing of personal data, overseen by the National Authority for Personal Data Protection (ANPDP). Camiouna respects this framework by refusing to collect personal names, identity documents, or direct identifying credentials without prior statutory basis.
